taken from Airliners.net..the recent blizzards left a lot of traffic in the northeast area major airports this JFK controller had a lot to deal with and the last thing he needed was an Iberian Airline pilot who didnt understand what the controller was saying.. "save link as" and forward to 16 min and listen for the Iberian not reading back his clearance.. http://www.liveatc.net/.archive/kjfk/JFK-Twr-Feb-04-06-1900.mp3

Haven't listened to it, but I know how NY controllers are. I write ATC software for a living! We bring in real ATC controllers to run experiments, and sometimes we ramp up the traffic levels to test new features in our simulation software, and one time, a controller started getting loud and quit because he couldn't handle it.

I hope you mean the pilot, the pilot failed to listen and repeat back the instructions! he cut in front of an AA airplane even though he was told to hold..not cool

Right! Very wrong actions taken.
Plus, you can't blame the controller. He did sound like he was about to lose it.

Great stuff... I've always wanted to see if I had the aptitude for ATC. I love listening to radio banter.

thats why i love flying united, they have the special chanel 9 where you can listen to live ATC feedbacks from the pilot to the controller..its awesome, but man this topped it all! I remember on my flight to seattle, upon takeoff from Boston we were behind and Air France and the tower had no idea wtf the french pilot was saying, it was kinda funny, boston accent meets french
