Folks,
New here to the forum. I've noticed in my 2000 Contour that when I'm just getting on the freeway (around 50-55 mph), then I floor it, it seems to kick down all the way to first with the engine roaring bloody murder. When I am at speed (65-70), then floor it, it kicks down just to 2nd as it should. Is this typical? If not, what to do? Thanks in advance!
