I have Polks, and they're "warmer" sounding than the Infiniti's...IMO

Def recommend them.

Ya... I've had good luck with Polks... and they sound great amp-ed.

I agree. I have Polk db507's in front doors, and I'm sending them about 50wrms, and I love them. I previously had Pioneer's in the doors. They weren't bad, especially amped, but the Polks are much nicer sounding. I guess you get what you pay for.

like everyone says...pioneer very good speakers for someone on a budget of around $75 or less. If you can spend more then that get infinity or polks

Well, everything you guys have described has been helpfull. I'm gonna look around to see if I can find a set of Polks or Infinities at a good price, but if not, Walmart here I come.

Thank you very much

I bought my Kappa 682.7cf speakers for just under $100 on eBay. You can get them even cheaper if you are patient.

Retail is $150+

Diamond Audio rocks! a little hard to find though.. I'm thinking about upgrading to some DA's from my Phoenix Golds. (I'm not happy with my mid punch right now)

I've polks up front and stockers in back. The sound is excellent with a sub. Without a LPF they get distored pretty easily. Other than that, excellent speakers.

If they weren't there when I bought the car then I would have picked higher end Infinity's powered by an amp but I love these Polks.
