Sounds like the bystander was hit 30 yards out with a 28 gauge. Since they were hunting quail, I'm betting he was using 7 shot or higher. That's a fair amount of shot that the docs are going to have to dig out...
It's nice to hear the guy is fine, but I can keep from cracking up over this every time I hear it mentioned. I don't know how the press is keeping a straight face.
