If it were Ted Kennedy I highly doubt you would have posted as soon as you did.

If Ted Kennedy had shot someone my post would have questioned if alcohol was involved.
The fact that a VP shot someone is news and it's to bad you delicate sensibilities get tweaked because he's a Republican. If the guy had died it still wouldn't be a left vs right issue but it would still be news. Lighten up!
And so you can lock this away in your stores of knowledge I think Ted Kennedy is a murderer so he's no hero to me.

The first two sentences of that post seem to be contradictory, and the title of the thread gave harsh partisan implications all by itself.
