Well, I'm not going to defend Sadam's treatment of anybody, but the way women are treated on a daily basis in some other countries in the region is sickening to say the least. In some cases, like Pakistan, it is tradition.
I don't know anyone who wants to give Sadam his job back and seeing him act up in court reminds me of Herman Goering's behavior during the Nuremberg trials. I wonder if he is mimicking Goering or just following the advise of his defense team.
