After replacing the dpfe sensor, intake air temp plug, air inlet and seal and adjusting the timing my HC went from 1895 to 230 on idle. That�s after 100+ miles on the freeway at 70+. I need to drop the HC another 20 points or not go over 220 on HC. All other reading are fine.
I had 3 shops look at it and all 3 say replacing Catalytic Converter should take care of that. They suspect its saturated and cant do its job.
2 shops say a new cat will be $800.00 and a 3rd said they can put in a generic master flow for around $350.00.
Any fuel additive that will drop the HC? And anyone know if an after market cat is available for my Tour?
