Not sure what longevity a stock engine would have compared to a fully built motor? Maybe it's worth having the built motor for peace of mind.



His current 3L has been running for over 2 years and making 350/350. He's run it with both oval cams and SVT cams.
The turbo hybrid 3L (~10.3-10.4 CR) before that was at least running for a year before he sold the motor and turbo piping to build the newer setup.
This car is his daily driver and he thrashes on it nearly as much as I do my car. Now he also does meticulous maintenance on it like I do on mine as well.
