and 1/10th the build quality, might i remind you that those 300 ponies are going to THE FRONT WHEELS, quite stupid IMO, the SRT-4 already has wheelspin problems approacing those numbers

This little bugger is EXPENSIVE. The highest line I could build, the R/T would sticker at $23,000 once you add all the necessities.

Navigation and HID lights are not even optional, and you're stuck with a CVT with any engine other than the base 1.8 litre (except the SRT-4).

The R/T is only availible w/ AWD and CVT for now. Subtract $3k for the same vehicle w/ FWD and manual come Fall. Ever price out a Vibe GT or Matrix XRS? Even Maz3 w/ Similar equipment (S Grand Touring + CD/Moon) is $21k. It has HID, Caliber R/T has some other stuff. $20k is quite reasonable. But, this tread is about the SRT-4.

260ft-lb 2000-6000rpm sounds nice. High 0-60 time for its power/weight raito, but I'm sure traction even with LSD will be limited for its 225mm wide tires.. I suspect a long 0-30 time, but 30+ should be on par w/ Evo/STi.

All I was meaning is I think the price will end up higher than some are speculating here, unless the SRT-4 is really stripped out.
