what about something on Belle Isle, is that where the old race track is?
the Detroit Yacht Club is also on that island, and i used to work there, so i could try and see if i can get us anything set up there food-wise (it's a tad expensive...). or, as that's right across from downtown, i'm sure there are plenty of places we could go, there.
just another suggestion, as i see some people would like a driving meet.
