You're an idiot. Home is no different than Pro as far as resource use.
It's going to run very, very slow. A clean install with NOTHING else might be workable, but as you add programs and Windows gets gunked up it'll become unbearable quickly. I'd stick with 98SE (not ME!) or Linux (if you can get the drivers... it can be a pain).
Well I'm no computer wiz, I just gave in my 2cents. I don't really know the difference between PRO and Home. I have a "older" computer (5 years old maybe, with updated memory) running XP Home that had ME and that WAS the worst Windows you could ever get, it froze up constantly, I think it crashed a couple times for no reason. Plus I only seen XP Home never seen PRO before, so I wouldn't know the differences if there is any. I just thought PRO had more stuff on it then Home since it was suppost to be the "upgraded" version of it. So, why don't you please think about stuff before you call someone an idiot.
