I'm talking barebones OS install. This laptop is used mainly on business trips for internet but I have an extra copy of XP and am contemplating using it.



I have an inspirion 7000. (P2-366 iirc) and it runs fine with XP pro (much faster then win2000 did btw)

160 mb memory is good for a "fast" bootup of XP (128 mb being what I consider the minimum for a quick bootup)
