There have been only twelve times in history when the "F" word was considered acceptable for use.
They are as follows:
12. "What the @#$% do you mean, we are Sinking?" -- Capt. E.J. Smith of RMS Titanic, 1912 11. "What the @#$% was that?" -- Mayor Of Hiroshima, 1945 10. "Where did all those @#$%ing Indians come from?" -- Custer, 1877
9. "Any @#$%ing idiot could understand that." -- Einstein, 1938
8. "It does so @#$%ing look like her!" -- Picasso, 1926
7. "How the @#$% did you work that out?" -- Pythagoras, 126 BC
6. "You want WHAT on the @#$%ing ceiling?" -- Michelangelo, 1566
5. "Where the @#$% are we?" -- Amelia Earhart, 1937 4. "Scattered @#$%ing showers, my ass!" -- Noah, 4314 BC
3. "Aw c'mon. Who the @#$% is going to find out?" --Bill Clinton, 1998
2. "What do you mean there is no @%#*ing key to my ankle bracelet?" -- Martha Stewart, 2005
and a drum roll please............!
1. "Geez, I didn't think they'd get this @%#*^ing mad." -- Saddam Hussein, 2003
"What did you think about that Dorothy girl?"
"The whole Judy Garland thing kinda turned me on. That doesn't make me some sort of fag does it?
"Nah baby, your money."

linky
While the 'f' word has the literal meaning of sexual intercourse, it is commonly considered vulgar in this usage. It is more commonly considered as one of the most impolite and flexible curse words in the English language being used as a verb, noun, adjective, adverb, and interjection.
It is unclear whether the word has always been considered impolite and, if not, when it was initially considered to be profane. Some evidence indicates that in some English-speaking locales it was considered acceptable as late as the 17th century meaning "to strike" or "to penetrate" [1]. Other evidence indicates that it may have become vulgar as early as the 16th century in England; thus other reputable sources such as the Oxford English Dictionary contend the true etymology is still uncertain, but appears to point to an Anglo-Saxon origin that in later times spread to the British colonies and worldwide.

there is no reason for it to be a "bad" word other than we were told that it was. i really dont think that we should teach our children that there are any "bad" words. we could totally eliminate swearing. think of it.

No word really "means" anything. All words have some sort of value or meaning only because we as a society assign some sort of meaning to them. Look at the new words that are added to our language all the time, "shizzle"? 10 years ago that didn't mean a thing, but now most people assign some sort of meaning to it. Language like most things, is culturally defined.
The "F" word has always been a vulgar word to describe the sex act. It kind of describes sex in a more violent or mean way, not like "making love" but closer to rape. Hence the vulgar meaning.
It is sad how people use the "F" like a punctuation mark.
That list was pretty hilarious!
