For those who fequent the Mazda 6 forums......how about that mysterious MS6 powerloss? What a joke!
Once more for those who can't quite get it.
You can't take a car that had 5 runs, half of which didn't even work properly for the full run, that had pulls ranging from 205whp to 238whp and then pick the worst run (detonation and an early fuel cutoff) and call that indicative of performance anymore than you can pick the 238/277 run and call that one indicative of the performance.
A sample size of one, and an extremely poor sample at that given the huge variation in results, does not give any conclusions, let alone the right to say that "most" dynos perform similarly, considering that you've only seen one dyno. It's Ricer-Math except usually you see that turned to a car's advantage.
