MS6 is crap. Go read in any of the Mazda 6 forums how much power these cars really make.

pffft, its just a slower version of your car with a better interior and options.

The interior isn't all that much better. Similar to the standard 6 with leather (My fiance has a 05 6s). Car has rattles like my Evo, the interior feels like my Evo, the only thing that is better (for obvious reasons) is the Bose stereo and the electrolumensient gauges.

Powerwise a lot of MS6s aren't making the power. The car is rated at 274 Hp like my Evo but most MS6 are making 200-220 whp. Stock Evos put down 230-240 whp.

I doubt that anyone on this planet frequents the various Mazda6 forums more than I do, and I don't know of a single MazdaSpeed6 dyno that was actually completed without some sort of noted failure in getting an effective, full pull. Either pulled timing issues or issues with the AWD system and TCS/DSC conflcits.

The only run I've seen that went without issue pulled a max of 238whp/277wtq (note that's as much wheel torque as the engine itself is rated at). And it took several runs to even get that without some sort of problem. But that's the only dyno I've seen and wouldn't quite jump to any conclusions on it yet with a sample size of 1 and with the variance that car exhibited over all its' runs.

There most certainly isn't enough dynos out there, failed or otherwise, to make a statement that "most" pull anything, let alone that most pull short. Anecdotal evidence combined with the dynos that we do have, failed or otherwise, show that the engine is rated for at least in the 220-240hp range easily with a LOT more torque than rated. And that's even given the current problems that the car has.
