Just my .02 the MS6 is underrated, people think its crap because its a 4cyl, or because it dosent have full time AWD (which i explained is actually a benefit, not a downfall)
I've heard more posts saying its underrated. The legacy is also "underrated." Most GTs are producing more TQ then rated... 265-280 stock. I don't really see advantages of a part time awd vs a well engineered awd. Gas mileage is no different and the subaru system is simpler and stronger. I have several cars with part time and 3 cars with full time. There is a difference in bad weather and agressive driving. Comparing and EVO to a Lancer is very different. They are basically two different cars. The EVO has a completely redone platform and drivetrain.
The other thing to keep in mind... the GT has large aftermarket support because the engine is nearly identical to the STI. I said before that for $500 you can get a basic reflash to bring the power up to 290hp and 305tq with no other mods.
