Again, the interior of the Mazdaspeed is totally different. It doesn't even have the integrated HU.
When Mazda makes a performance model, they don't just slap on some suspension changes and a few interior/exterior tidbits and jack the price $5000 like Subaru did to the Legacy GT. The Legacy GT is a great car, but the Spec B is just flat-out over-rated and over-priced.
For the added $3000 over a regular Mazda6s you get 55hp, 80lb/ft, a 6-speed transmission, an AWD system with LSD, larger brakes, a completely unique interior that replaces probably 50% of the interior parts, fully-revised suspension, frame changes to increase stiffness (already one of the stiffest sedan chassis on the market) over 30%, full body-cladding changes (love-hate thing there), some unique paint choices, and if it really matters to you a car built in Japan rather than one from Michigan.
