There is a kit that covers the area of the dash (around the vents) that holds the part that warps down. Only problem is the dash has to be pulled out or windshield removed to install it. I was trying to fix mine by gluing it down and ended up cracking my windshield by prying against it to get the defroster grill to snap back in. So out comes the windshield and in goes the permanent fix.
