ok this was the deal the budget to buy the engine was under $200 parts are a different story. my parents want me to get a pos engine and rebuild it...from the ground up and i like the idea of swopping parts between engines...so does my teacher...and really good news i got a 98 instead of a 96 i found that out after about 8 hours of busting my arse and about to give up when i noticed the markings on the car...i read them wrong they said '98 taurus. so i dont think i have to worry about modifying the bell housing or the block to tranny bold pattern(if that makes sense) also by using the older engine i will be also incorperating the 2.5 into the build. as far as the rebuild parts...:rings, gaskets, bearings... those will all be paid for. i do have a part time job but all the money goes to my parents(long story short..."debt") and i dont make much anyway with my class schedule i cant work much. so now that is all clear anything else look for the other post in 3L and somebody please close this one that way i dont have to have it remind me of my retarded idea to rebuild a 2.5 thanx
