the only thing we can really count on is that we don't know and probably will never know the whole extent of what took place regarding the 9/11 attacks. for all their precision and surprise it's highly unlikely that there wasn't some sort of 'inside' help.
and just for conspiracy sake, since i think they're interesting, if there was some sort of secret involvement (rogue gov agencies, illuminati, etc) it's very improbable that anyone in the bush admin knew before hand as they would've likely bumbled and spilled the beans by now.
there are a bunch of unanswered questions around some parts of 9/11 but the rabit hole is probably deeper than most people can imagine, and more than the public could probably digest. if there is any truth to any part of the conspiracies the people who do will take it to their grave if they're not there already. and those who are close enough to suspect probably don't want to know or ask.
personally for me, some form of conspiracy is not beyond the realm of belief. i can see a reason why it would be done. it's just the who and how that's left to be checked off. like i said, the last 24 (even though it's hollywood) was a good what if scenario...
