I really wonder if you can add the traction control switch to make it functional like one other person has found. You might have a rare one. Not that traction control is a good thing. If you don't have I believe it's active all the time and you can't turn it off unless you have a switch. Take it out on a dirt road and see if the traction control kicks in when you floor it.
