I thought someone here might be interested in this component car manufacture. Race Car Replicas is out of Michigan and has begun to build some of the best GT-40 replicas in the world. One of their next products will be a mid-engined original designed lightweight supercar using a transverse engine platform. When I'm done with my F5R Cobra, this will be my next build! Later, Pat

Nah, the Noble is about 300 lbs overweight. Even a nice diet only drops that by 100 lbs, leaving you 200 lbs over.

Relatively little information available on that site. No addy, very limited pix of the facility... I'm not likin' it.
Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.

I've always liked the idea of a roots/whipple blown full oval port 3L in a wide body Conquest TSi. (~2800lbs, RWD with IRS) Some fat, stock ultralite 88-90 handling package rims. (16x8 & 16x9)
A fully loaded 3L Duratec weighs about the same as the iron block 2.6L engine. The real PITA would be the K frame and subframe in the Quest.

I'd really like a blown 3L duratec in something unexpected. RWD, maybe a vert...who knows...Miata or an Rx7 Vert

Good luck getting that to fit ... and you think our engine bays are tightly packed? Mazda did this as a test case and you should see the pictures of the engine bay ... you can't see ANY light between the engine & fender wells. Can be done, no doubt and I have defended the Duratec in a Miata many times on miata.net forums (I serious thought about this as a project in 2000-2001), but you are in for some serious fabrication if you do.
