Before I post my comment, let me just say the Ford GT is an amazing car, duh, but this is why the ZO6 rules:
-its available at any Chevrolet dealership
-limited production, not SCANT production
-even w/ the current mark up, its the perf value champ
-everyday supercar, does it get any better (yeah, it does, almost 30 mpg on the freeway)
-The Vette has taken on everything from Ford and is still here, only missing one year of production (due to re-tooling for the 1984 model year)
Sorry to drag this post down, but like the Cobra and Panteras before it, the Ford GT is/was just something of a gimmick, whereas the Corvette has endured throught the years! All along, being all-American, not some British bodied car, Italian bodies car or some "tribute" of days gone by
Thank God GM had got that part of the Corvette right and who knows, the "SuperVette" may rear its head down the road, but like the ZO6, just an extension of the current car
