If so, look for a "THEFT" light in the instrument cluster.

Just look for any light that flashes when the the key is off.

that is only half right. in the 98 it is the led by the clock, after 98 it is located in the same spot but instead of a clock you have a little filler panel that says Contour



My 1998 (bought July 1998) doesn't have the clock, but does have the oval filler panel that says "Contour" and the red PATS led.

What ever happened here?
