Quoting me in sections won't help you and doesn't change a darn thing. It amazes me that you would post those things that you did without any other supporting evidence other than you hated the MTL debate.

When was the last time you smelled burning redline MTL....hmm?

I doubt ever. Anything is possible, but if you ran your transmission low on lube it could smell bad....though hard to believe at least until you open it up. I'm willing to bet you may have some oil seepage on your manifolds or something because that is something you can smell. Maybe PS fluid leaks that are hitting pipes, upper manifolds?

I don't know, but knowing the routing of the pipes and such, I can't imagine it being your tranny fluid even if it were leaking.

Just change your fluid, that seems to be the answer you were looking for.
