If your car is out of warranty...or in my case,
your Ford dealer has cancelled your warranty, then
you guys need to find a mechanic that you can
trust. There is no other reason to take it to
Ford. Every good garage has the diagnostic tools,
are probably cheaper (here in Vanc, Ford dealer
is $94 CDN per hour, my guy is $67 CDN per hour)...Try a local speed shop, these guys usually
have no problems working on the cars....especially
if you are using aftermarket parts anyways...
I could bore you with horror stories (two days to
get suspension aligned, a 1 hour job at best) about the dealer but you get the point.
