What exactly are you looking to gain in your quest to change the oil pump?
The Noble's Duratec is modified with piston oil squirters, plus there are the two turbos (only oil cooled on the lower model), the huge sump, long lines, oil cooler, etc.
We've seen what seems to be a few oil related failures so far, mostly related to heavy track use. Even the engine builder (AER in Texas) was looking into a higher performing pump to cope, but that seems stalled.
I was hoping to find an easy solution. Contacting Melling for a high volume racing pump is an option, but one I'd like to avoid exploring until other options are exhausted.
