I've got Daft Punk in my CD player right now . IIRC , I was doing some "spirited" driving the last time I drove the CSVT , so I guess it works for me ! Actually ... anything along the same lines as daft Punk works for me .

Danger Zone - Kenny Loggins (Top Gun Soundtrack)
Free Bird (the three guitar assault) - Lynyrd Skynyrd

And I do like Radar Love. But that's more like turning and switching lanes so much my turn signal knob would come loose (well, not really. Still intact)!

I also enjoy all trance while on long haul trips.

Reggae when driving sans-madman. Also on long trips.

Is my car for sale? PM me if you're in South FL.

Not Satriani. It's Harold Faltemeyer with Steve Stevens.

Yes it is Satriani. The song is actually titled Up In The Air off of the Crystal Planet album. Go look it up. I have the album

Metallica - battery, master of puppets, blackened, pretty much anything metallica but especially those songs.

Same here....my right foot likes Metallica.

Ha ha, me too! Like Metallica best for longer trips. My favorite is the S & M album (I prefer live music over studio). I haven't figured out how to do it, but I want to make a CD of the soundtrack to the DVD I got with my St. Anger album. It shows rehearsals for that album, it's pretty raw. Like it.

But I guess my tastes are a little varied. One of my favorite live bands and fun music to listen to is Barenaked Ladies.
