I beg the differ... I have a 98 SE 2.5L MTX... I have a 98SVT EEC... if I plug the EEC in, I get nothing... a very very very quick blip of the fuel pump, no PATS light, no nothing... it's completely dead. Mind you, I am using the proper cut key for my ignition with the proper original chip for the SVT EEC... there is something different.
