I like the SRT-8 alot better myself, but the TB SS is pretty cool, but I don't understand the white tach w/ the other gauges being black I wonder how the race would've been had Chrylser offered 2wd on the SRT-8 Either way, congrats on the new ride, quite an upgrade (sorry Pete ) and like everyone else said, post some pics when you get it? BTW, what color did you end up going with (puts hands together as if to pray and thinks, BLUE, BLUE, BLUE )

I just got my C&D mag today and got to check out the shootout between the SRT-8 and SS...NOT EVEN CLOSE! The Jeep is .9 seconds faster in the quarter mile and is geared higher, damn The inferno red on the SRT rides is really a spectacular color Not doggin' your ride, but with most stats being equal, I don't understand the difference

th jeep weighs 236lbs more

But has additional 25 tq and 29 more hp

Gearing for the srt-8 i didn;t find.

But for the wieght diffrence and the gearing being the same. They should be runing close to one another.

What i did notice is that the SRT-8 has more power in the highrer revs. When it goes into the second gear the srt-8 will have more bang. It will have reached it's highest torque peak and almost hp peak and still be pulling with those extra numbers being there to help it go go go.

very close race if u ask me!!!!

SRT-8 13.2 vs. SS 14.1, NOT close at all. In addition to that, the SRT-8 traps about 6-7 more mph which makes sense seeing that it has 31 more hp. I'd say the 2wd SS would do better, but then again like someone else said earlier, the SRT-8 is already 236 lbs heavier and w/o the AWD, probably about 600 lbs lighter.

I would like to see tis in person. I also beleive that the SRT-8 is faster. I have also read that the SS ran 14.7's. So too much conflicting data. Would just lke to see it for myself, maybe at milan.. If that ever occurs
