alright guys heres my predicament, i want to build a nice 3L for under 5 grand installed...
....is it possible??
i do plan on "recycling" some of my svt parts, with 3L heads and block
i would like to be able to put in high comp. pistons, and if possible (money pending) post and polish, 3L heads
would all of these be possible for under 5 grand?
that installed, and running for that cost!
basically im looking for guidance on where to get parts, i know buckshot offers the shortblocks, are there any other reputable sorces?

i should be able to reuse my SVT trans with this because it only has 47,xxx miles on it
and would i be able to upgrade a clutch within my price range too??
what can you 3L gurus recommend??

i know man, its either turbo a 2.5 or build a new 3.0
and i would much prefer a high comp 3L
a few different reasons too
could i include an l.s.d in that too? (price)

too bad you aren't doing it yourself because lobor will kill you on custom stuff. I wouldn't even know what to tell you about how much they'd charge for everything.
