Well, I got a call from the sheriff this morning around 9:30 letting me know they found my car in West Columbia...about 25 miles from my house where it was stolen from. At first I was excited, but then I started to think..."there can't be much left of this car," so I call the wrecker. A woman answers the phone, and no offense, but I said to myself, "Oh great." I asker her about my car and she says, "Oh, yeah, the really pretty royal blue one?" I confirm, and ask was condition it was in. She said that it looked fine when they rolled it by her a few minutes before. I'm thinking that the car is, ok and I might have gotten lucky. So then I asker her to check it out so I know what to expect. That's when the sinking feeling hit. She comes back and says they have taken my motor. So I'm thinking, "ok, a motor, i can replace that." I ask her to give me an estimate on the things that are missing and get back to me. About ten minutes later she calls back to tell me that I am missing not only my motor, but the tranny, which I had assumed would be gone with the motor, all wires, hoses, my radiator, all pumps, stereo, shifter and linkage, and my front right strut. Yeah so you are thinking, "Who the **** steals one strut?" My answer to you is, "I have no idea." So now I'm having the shell with my racing wheels still attached, WTF? brought to my house where I can part out the rest of it. If anybody wants anything just pm me, I know this is a contour board, but I also know there are a few trolls like myself still hanging around. Oh and the reason I didn't just give it to the junk yard was because I didn't have full coverage, so i'm trying to compinsate for the money i've lost. I'll have pictures soon.
