Well, I got my Koni Sport Kit today... or should I say a Koni Sport Kit.

I ordered the 4 cyl kit from AJUSA. They didn't have them in stock, so they arranged for Koni to drop ship a kit from their facility (I think in Kentucky).

The smart people over at Koni decided to send me a 6 cyl kit instead of the 4 cyl kit that both me and more importantly, the ticket from AJUSA, specified.

I called AJ and they are going to follow up with Koni for me, and let me know the deal tomorrow. So far I am really impressed with AJUSA. Their end of the deal has been a very good experience. I just wish Koni was paying attention. They are going to eat a lot of shipping costs for these 71 lb kits going back and forth across the country!

In the meantime, I hope the suspension doesn't fall off my car while waiting on this... its getting realllly bad now

What's the difference between a 4cyl kit and 6cyl kit?

Does it matter?

Frog, I was told by AJUSA that the 4 cylinder Koni Sport kit uses different springs in the front due to the difference in weight between the two engines. They specifically said that the struts are identical between the two kits.

Read more about my current agonizing over this little detail here if you'd like: http://www.contour.org/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=susp&Number=1209913&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=7&fpart=1

I wonder if they actually produced a 4cyl spring or just listed the part number.

If you don't end up getting the 4cyl springs, then I think you'd be fine using the regular springs. The front will just sit a bit higher than it would with the 4cyl springs.

That's not going to work for me. I didn't pay a gang of money for an ass sagging car.

That's correct.
There is also a code "refund", it expires on 17 April 06. Unfortunatly it also does not include the above companies.
