Ya... I liked the dash of my 81 Coupe Deville... obviously designed in the 70s.

You lucky dog , Koko . I've always had a soft spot for the 850R's ... especially the wagons . Have fun with it !

I didn't know they made an "R" model back then and I think its very "stealth" I'd change a couple things, first the steering wheel, its gotta go Secondly, I'd invest in a dash applique' and cover up whatever thats supposed to be on the dash Other than that, the usual CAI, exhaust and suspension work and ofcoarse, preventative maintence program It seems alot of us have moved on to more "mature", performance oriented rides, natrual progression! Keep it lookin' good and welcome to "troll-dom".

Gorgeous ride! Looks like my old late model 95.. cept mine was black, had the same interior, wheels, and motor. Never had issues either and I put about 80,000 miles on it.

intake wont do much, if anything. for these cars, you wanna look into what they call stage 0, which is the replacement of everytthing that will make the car run like new again, before you do ANYTHING TO THE ENGINE do the stage 0. then, exhaust, chip, etc. you will find all of this at volvospeed.com

My dad drove an 850 for around 220,000 relatively trouble-free miles. The leather seats were, without a doubt, the most comfortable car seats I have ever sat in. Nice car. I'd love a 5-speed wagon.
Old car: '98 SVT T-Red
K&N air filter; Ford Focus RS shift knob. Off to be auctioned off somewhere.
New car: 2003 Honda Accord DX Sedan, 5-speed.
