It shouldn't get deleted, its totally legal. I haven't had a chance to drive the German Autobahn but I might this spring. I have driven here in Austria and the best sign to see is the 100 kmh crossed out meaning you can go up to around 160 with out having really to think about tickets.

Some may call BS if they want and I have no actual proof of it but at a road track in SoCal I hit 153mph indicated down the back stretch and was still going but ran out of track.

Nope, I know I can easily do over 100. But I don't feel like posting about that, since this thread will get locked. I remember one of these debates before, when someone said they could get above 150mph, so guy from ebay. This thread will get locked, evenutally. And you shouldn't be talking Chris.

Alright...
If you two want to be the ones that take this thread from legal and acceptable to locked (for an entirely different reason) then keep it up. Otherwise, let's just discuss the thread, huh?

Cool vids. Are the roads pretty choppy on the A6? Looks like you had a tough time keeping the camera steady. Then again, I wouldn't want to take a hand off the wheel for too long at 140mph either. On a side note, I remember having a 2.5L and it taking a day and a half to get up to 140mph. The 3L pushes 150 pretty good, and 155 was about all she had. This, ofcourse, on a track. Mark

Yeah... they're not as smooth as I would have thought. Think of a random US interstate. About that smooth all the way up to and around Frankfurt.
I'm not even going to mention the side roads! Let's just say I must piss a lot of people off [by going slow over the rough roads].
