Highest it goes is the A... Usually just below it, but highway driving keeps it up.

thats pretty high though isnt it? mine never goes above the r and i get worried when it does

Yeah, that is pretty high. Shouldn't you actually be running lower temps on the highway because of the air passing through the front? I know I'm always cooler on the highway.

140 and you still had a grand worth of rpms left.....damn drag limitations....now i'm kinda curious what a turbo tour would do to? seeing how its should have the power to push it....and i couldnt help but look at your temp again..

I wonder how long the engine would last cruising at 140. I would imagine it would put quite a bit of stress on it to run there for a long period of time.

There was up until a few years ago... Now it's 75 on the interstate (and 70 on the 2 lane highways).

I remember when BuritaSVT (or somthing like that) took video of his turbocharged SVT on streets hitting 160+ It was blocked pretty fast but it was insane the needle was going past 160 on the speedometer.

Since its on the autobahn... its legal

I was going to say, I dont know why it would get locked b/c he isnt breaking any law!

BTW, LUCKY!

The reason I said that was because I posted a pic of guy doing 155 mph in his Crossfire on the Autobahn and it got either deleted or locked I was told it was promoting "high speed driving" and we couldn't have that!

Yeah, that's what I was thinkin... but my first vid is clearly on the Autobahn with no speed limit. At 13 seconds you can see the following sign:

It cancels all previous restrictions (no passing zone, slower speed zone, etc), which on the Autobahn includes the speed limit.

But then you can say I was violating rule 14's "encourages similar behavior."

Now, my 2nd vid could be questionable...
