Well I went down to Medford and raced there. I let my good friend race the car too. Only problem being is he beat me by 1/2 second (a55h0le :p ). It was fun. If you don't know, Medford runs on a gokart track with a 800' straight. We were hitting 3rd gear on the straight. Both of us did pretty well in the car though. He placed 2nd in ESP and I placed 1st in GS.

My friend recorded us out on track. Hopefully I'll get some videos posted in the next couple weeks of that.

I had to see how well the car performed, since I did plan on buying it before Qbert did...

As far as the videos, I watched them last night, and I think you'll be impressed!

If any of you can make it to a Medford event, its well-worth the drive! The course is really awesome, and you get some pretty high speeds on it. Its more of a miniature road course than an autocross - basically the course is laid out for you and you don't have to drive through a sea of cones. Only time you'll hit a cone is if you go the wrong way or REALLY mess up!!

Say, I noticed that you forgot to mention how that crappy stock black Focus with the worn out shocks stacked up against the Contour!

Lol...yeah both of us were still trying to keep up with the Focus on race tires. Note the words "race tires". Yes the Contour was on street tires.

I have to have some excuse for getting beat by a Focus. :rolleyes:

Wish I could have came down, that would have been fun!
