Except the things I listed (laser jammer and veil), depending on your distance. By the time they can get a reading when you're using a good jammer and veil, then you SHOULD have already seen them, laser detector gone off, and you slowed down to the speed limit.
And often laser (and radar) are not ran in instant on mode. The only time this is really feasible is in very light traffic and you're just a lone car speeding along. Usually constant on is used to check speed of every car passing through. And even constant on is hard for a detector to pick up quick enough, but you do get lucky sometimes and catch it bouncing off other cars before it hits you.
