What are your thoughts on a pre 98 trunk on a 99 Mystique?

I ordered one from spoilersmart.com but it got damaged during shipping and it was the last one they had. But no I don't have the spoiler still kinda on the lookout. Would the car look right with it?

If you don't have a spoiler, then I don't think it would be worth it to swap to a pre-98 lid. Unless maybe you go with a pre-98 with the lip spoiler, and you like the look of it.

I have the post 98 spoiler right now. but you think if I can't find the pre 98 its not worth the swap?

I would go with a post 98 spoiler, personally. I swapped my trunk lid that didn't have a spoiler with a SVT owner that did have a spoiler, and I like it much better. The only problem was that the trunk lid isn't aligned like it once was no matter what I do.

I think the trunks with the lip spoiler are THE one to have. With a 98+ front end, soooooo SEKZAAAYYY!!!! 
Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.

If you can get your hands on it, go for it. But, you'll need pre 98 contour tail lights, as they don't have the chrome stip at the bottom and will match the trunk. Otherwise it'll look like @$$.
