I have a programable thermostat that keeps the hosue at 72 when I'm there and 68 when I'm not. I don't want it to get too cold while im away or otherwise it takes too long ot get the hosue warmed back up, using too much energy as well.
BTW my house is 4 stories (including basement and attic) and is about 1200 sq ft.
