Why have a boost gauge w/o something to give boost? The fool shuold have at least gotten a gauge that will show something, anything? I don't get it?

I asked him why he had a boost gauge without FI, and why the hell a "show car" had such a nasty engine bay. This was his response: "i have been working on it get more stuff done to it"
