So I went down after work to talk to the service manager, and he was a d@ck about it. He wouldn't give me the time of day to speek let alone go and see the rims. He said that they(service) couldnt have done it yada yada yada. So I told him thats fine and will never bring my car or refer anybody to you ever. Oh he also asked me if this was my first time there. I said yes for service. He said OK well looks like you have brought you car to another place of service. I say No Ive never had a major problem with my car prior to this. So I leave and go talk to a guy in sales that Ive know for years and he called one of the owners and hes going to look at it Monday or Tuesday. So there is still some hope for me. I hope they do right on this because if no im going to be a little pi$$ed about it.

Well I had one of the owners of the dearlership look at it he said hes going to try and have the resurfaced. Hes going to call me either tomorrow or Thursday. But I have another problem that came up today while going to lunch. My temp gage on the stock cluster was all the way past the red like it was over heating but there was no lights that came on like it did when my water pump went. I was wondering on what i would do about this? Does it need to be taken off and put back in the right place or is it something major?

Did your low and high speed fans turn on?

Im sure they did come on, but they didnt stay on. Nothing unusual or different happened.

I would start be checking the water pump belt. Make sure its not slipping or completely walked off the pullies.

I checked the belt, and its fine. The coolent is above MAX, where is should be. So I would say its not overheating, I dont think. I did do a search does anyone thing that it could be the temp sending unit?

I had some scratchs on the focus svt wheels I have and was able to wet sand them so they are very hard to see. One of my wheels fell on the center also and chipped it a little. Now I always make sure they are laying down. Are the scratchs near the lugs or on the circle just outside the lugs? The two sets I sold and the set I have all had the centers scratched from what appeared to be where they were removed with an impact wrench.

The scratches are on the outer ring of the lugs. Hopefully they do refinish them. The guy hasnt called me, maybe tomorrow. Im not doing anything they were resmonsable for them. You have to be a complete moron to lay rims down on the face and slid them out of the way. It blows my mind I just dont get it, I thought it was common curtsey, but I guess not.

reminds me of the time i brought my SVT to 128 Ford for a few things.
One of them was to replace ebrake cables under warranty.
instead they decided to "resurface" my fairly new rotors.
they did this with a roloc disk on a die grinder thru (yes i said thru) my rear wheels (E0's)!
when i confronted them about all the fresh gouges in the wheels they claimed they were already there.
after some arguing i got them to 'fix' them. they took the car over to the body shop and threw some touch up paint on the gouges.

my local dealer damaged my side skirts. they tried to deny it and were pretty difficult about it but they eventaully agreed to have it repaired in their body shop. this did involve replacing one of the side skirts. about 3 weeks later they told me to bring the car by. they had taken their time but they fixed my car. still wil never set foot in that dealer again. you need to go [censored] and they will examine the damage. bring it back as soon as possible. good luck and dont back down
