My, you've done some homework! Good for you!
You seem to be on the right track, but you may be able to narrow it down a little more if you have noticed if the symptoms are more common when your fuel tank is not full... Happens only when you have 1/2 tank or less, then you may have a fuel pump problem. It would also be easy & free for you to check the fuel pressure. Borrow a FP gauge from an Auto Zone or sup'm & hook that baby up. Check to see the pressure is near constant at idle & see if you get any severe pressure drops when you gradually increase rpm.
Get a battery light at high rpm? The alternator is on its way out.
Without more investigating, I'm suspecting a combination of problems. Reverse light switch, battery ground or mega fuse, and possibly a fuel pump.
Good luck.
Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.
