How are we supposed to check out everyone's cars if they are spread out all over the streets?

That is the only negative thing I come up with?
I'm new, I've never seen all your cars?

Here's the address:
Red Robin
1139 NE Grand Ave
Portland, Oregon 97232
(503) 231-9223

I think it may even be walking distance from
there to the show...

Another suggestion would be BJ's Pizza Grill.
It's supposed to be "Chicago Style" pizza...I lived in Chicago and this isn't it...but it is tasty.

If you guys want to browse restaurtants close by, then go to:
portland.citysearch.com
and click on restaurants by neighborhood.
click NorthEast.

I agree OTTO, about not having a parking lot that we can meet in. If you have any other options, I'd like to hear.

You know, about 2 yrs ago, there was a meet down in Portland, and we all met at a Brewery/Restaurant that was across the river on the west side of town. It was great because it wasn't very crowded, and there was a company across the street that wasn't open, and had a parking lot that we could all meet in, and take pictures of course.

Maybe this could be an alternative? What do you all think?

Click here for a map of the Convention Center area and more importantly, 4 parking structures that offer a free shuttle to the center.

What is the word on meeting place and time?
BJ's pizza pub?
Brewery to be named later?
Plan C anyone?
Is 11am the time to meet or no?

I think the time has been set at 11am, Sat. Feb. 2nd.

If no one disagrees, I think there is still time to find another place to meet for lunch.

Otto,
I believe the brewery I mentioned earlier is the 'Portland Brewing Company.' Have you been there?

One problem with the brewing companies, well at least Portland Brewing Company. It doesn't open until 12 (checked on the website Portland Brewing Company ). This is the one out on 31st avenue, is this the one you guys were thinking about?

If that doesn't work out there is a nice large parking lot just off of the Llody Center exit. It's for a cancer center of some sort, but no one is there on the weekends. It's on the west side of the 5 just across the street from the Rose Garden.

It is between N. Wheeler and N. Ross Ave. If you are heading west on NE. Broadway. About a 1/4 mile before the broadway bridge but west of the 5.

We could meet there and then go to Red Robin or one of the other fabulous dining facilities wink . Lets get the dining and/or meeting area situated no later then Tuesday.

Here's a map link...for some reason UBB doesn't like long links so you have to go here and click on the link to get the map:

Blue Star - Cancer Center Parking Lot
Gold Star - Red Robin

So lets take a vote people:
A. Park at the Cancer center lot. Then go to Red Robin. Then the show.

B. BJ's Pizza pub then the show.

C. Portland Brewery at noon and then the show.

D. All of the above...no just kidding...
D. Any other idea that hasn't been mentioned yet?

I'm leaning towards BJ's pizza pub. They open at 11am and they have a parking lot. And there is a parking structure very close that has a free shuttle to the convention center.

I'm down with whatever though...everyone put in there 2 cents.
JR, Sadeeq, & Wayne Nelson[b], are you guys in?
[b] Current Tally:

  1. = 0
  2. = 3
  3. = 0
  4. = 0
