capacitors are useless for most music. if the bass is constantly hitting then the cap isnt doing a dam thing, but if bass hitting once in a while where as the cap has time to recharge then it would be helpful. if you listen to hip hop, rap, techno or some hard rock dont get a capacitor it will be useless. id only get one for looks that is about it
