Sucks, man. My last relationship of 1.5yrs ended the same way. The "just a friend" had been whispering in her ear for months and me being the trusting type, I ignored him calling her all the time. Then I got that same type of phrase. I think it was "I need some time to myself." I'd be less annoyed if they just said "I'm leaving you for ______." But instead they lie to your face while they know you know they are.
Life goes on. If another guy can pry her away from you easily enough, a marriage wouldn't have worked so well. Consider yourself lucky that the truth was exposed now instead of later.
