How do you figure. When you dump the codes, you sent a P1000 code, which tells any inspection that the codes have been cleared. The P1000 goes away when a full driving cycle has been completed. The inspection stations know if they codes have been cleared, and they won't pass a car unless its been through a full driving cycle and has no codes. I don't think it is illegal to clear the codes, perhaps I'm wrong...
