Eric et al,

Things are going great. I still don't get to see my daughter enough, but I spend a lot of time with the new woman in my life.

No new BMW, the divorce postponed that dream for a while, but if my ex doesn't get her stuff together and get that QDRO to transfer her portion of the 401(k) I'll have one on her when I retire, LOL. Of course, I'm not going to remind her that she needs that court order to get that money. She and her attorney got the letter from my attorney a year ago on that subject so that's all I can do.

Getting ready to remodel my kitchen. You know me, I'm one of those sicko people that actually want to save the money first, then do the work, so I'll probably do it in July. I have about 1/2 saved now and need to order the cabinets and stuff in May to get them in time to do the project and have time to check them out for damage, allow time for repairs or replacements, etc.

Cindy is a school counsellor, so she can help with the work in the summer, and I'll take a week off work to get the kitchen functional. I may not have all the wall cabinets up, but new flooring, the base cabinets, new sink and range should be doable in 9 days with a couple of us working on it.

The Scion tC is a great car. What's really great is hearing how used ones are still going for more than new ones on the coasts since it seems demand outstrips supply. I think the one I bought just came off the truck. It still was "in the wrapper" and had 1 mile on it. So other than the dock workers and porters and the dealership, I've been the only driver.

I've put about 1300 miles on it since 12/31, and I still love it.

However, contour.org is a far better car forum than anything I've found for the Scion crowd.

It seems to be mostly teens and early 20 somethings, with a few of us FOGEY's (Anyone remember that acronym from a couple of years ago?) keeping the kiddies in check.

Work is good. I spend two weeks/month on site, so my driving has really dropped quite a bit. I was doing over 40K miles/year and that's probably down closer to 25-30K now.

Thanks,

TB

Glad things are going better than when you told us you were leaving us!

Rather than threadjack this, I'll drop you a PM with all the changes in my life since we last talked!

Welcome back Tony. Your contributions & company are remembered & welcome once again.

I've got kitchen remodel plans for this summer as well. Should be fun...

I still don't see what the problem was with the name Boner.

Unless your name was Dick or your friends nicknamed you Tiny.

Glad to see you're still around TB.
