First off, I'm new here, (Hoping this is in the right place). Well the other day I was heading to college and when I got to the off ramp I noticed that the engine was knocking. So afterbeing a little nervous abou the sound I had it towed back home, and the mechanic told me that the #4 piston was cracked eek . I find out tomorrrow if it damaged the block or not.

So now I'm wondering, what would a new Zetec cost? I figure the current engine has about 90,000 miles right now, so this may be a good time for a new one.
