Bummer of a car wash , no doubt . Probably a bad idea doing it in the first place , though .

I take my SVT through the auto washes all the time. It's too cold during the winter to bother doing it myself like I do when the weather is warm and fair.

And with the standard drive through washes, you can run your finger across the paint, and feel all the scratches and swirl marks it leaves. Your logic behind it costing more to go touchless is worse than people saying they can't afford the extra $2 to put premium fuel into their cars.

Touchless is the grerat invention in the history of the world! If I'm not doing it by hand it's the only thing I'd use. Car comes out sqeeky clean and no scratches.

wow man that sucks ass, i reciently had a fight with a car wash and it won. ofcourse i had my stereo on when i went through and it bent my antena at a 45degree angle. the most retarted [censored] is i dont even listen to the radio since its a mp3 cd player. and its my fault lol that is the stupidest thing to do going through it with your antena up, plus those things are so hard on the car i only do it if i have too. anyway good luck with getting it fixed.

I agree about the scratches thing to an extent. There is certain car washes that just have the worst equipment and will damage paint for sure. I stay away from anything that uses little brushes instead of the soft cloth washes. Also, some places that dry the car actually run these stupid little wheels across the car instead of just blowing strong hot air at the car.
The only thing I want to add about this car wash:
Wether I used the cloth wash, or I just used the touchless, because this wash had 2 choices, the side skirt still would of came off.
It didn't come off from washing the car, it got caught on something on the ground pulling out.

Agreed. It would have happened regardless. I hadn't been to the touchless down by my house since I've had the Mirko, so I thought I'd try it out. I pulled up to the rails before paying, got out of the car, and saw that there was no way it was going to clear it. I think most people's point is, don't go through manual car washes, as they're tough on the paint. Sure they have "soft cloth", but who do you think went through there before? Ever see a jacked up 4x4 truck that just went mudding go through a car wash? Think that mud just disappears? Same thing with the foaming brushes at the DIY car washes. People use those things on their paint! I can't help but cringe when I see someone using them on a decent car. Mark
